"I am painting my love of people. That’s the antidote to these times." - Massoud Hayoun
Our participation in the Abu Dhabi Art Fair 2024 from November 20-24 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, brings a selection of works by two artists exploring themes of transformation and identity.
At this year’s Abu Dhabi Art Fair, we present works by Ilyes Messaoudi and Massoud Hayoun:
-
Ilyes Messaoudi: Known for his unique blend of Western and Arabic pop art, Messaoudi’s intricate, dual-sided glass paintings embody a transformative narrative with humor and social commentary. His featured piece, A little bit of party, encapsulates a vivid cultural storytelling style, engaging viewers in a conversation on change.
-
Massoud Hayoun: An award-winning author and artist, Hayoun presents selections from his series Ghorba, an Arabic term meaning “foreignness” or “exile.” Through this series, he addresses themes of identity, migration, and empathy, drawing from his North African heritage. Hayoun’s paintings offer an exploration of self-discovery and the shared human experience.
Visit us at Booth E6 to view these engaging works up close and connect over the vibrant cultural dialogue that Abu Dhabi Art Fair fosters.
